This is a print of an oil painting I completed in October of 2025. It began as a series of sketches over the summer and made its way through several different iterations in multiple different mediums. This, the final version, is the result of roughly 5 months of drawings and paintings. I fell in love with the idea of what a lighthouse have been like prior to electricity. For the past several years I have been developing a kaiju themed board game so I have been absorbing a fair amount of Asian imagery and media.
