This painting is the result of several months of work across many iterations of this idea. The final painting this print is from is done in oil on a 15x30 canvas.
The original idea for this painting stemmed from an idea about a pre-electricity lighthouse in feudal Japan while playing through Ghost of Tsushima.

To me this painting feels just as much chiseled and carved from the rocks and wood as it does painted with a brush. I think about solemn duty in changing times when I see this image and the tree gives me comfort. It was here before me, and it will be here long after I am gone.
